In this filter comparison test, INTEWA requested the Forschungsstelle Wasserwirtschaft und Umwelt fwu at the University of Siegen, to examine the INTEWA WSP 100 (now known as the PURAIN Filter), the 3P cartridge filter PF and the WISY fine swirl filter WFF-100 for their efficiency. INTEWA Ingenieurgesellschaft für Energie- und Wassertechnik mbH, of Aachen, Germany requested the Forschungsstelle Wasserwirtschaft und Umwelt (fwu), at the University of Siegen, to carry out investigations to establish accurate sizing of hydraulic jump filters. The results are summarized here. The filters investigated were:
WSP-150 for roof areas of 300 to 1,000 m²
WSP-200 for roof areas from 1000 to 2000 m²
WSP-300 for roofs area of 2000 to 4000 m²
WSP-400 for roof areas of 4000-6000 m²
