MD-100, MD-150
The INTEWA MD-100 and MD-150 wall bushes are specially developed for rainwater harvesting. Inserted into walls, they prevent cold, damp and backwater from permeating the ductwork into the control unit installation room by sealing the pipework and electrical cabling. They feature different size holes to take both intake pressure hoses and electrical cables through walls to the control unit. Unused holes in the bushes are sealed with blind plugs. Bushes are made of stainless steel and a high quality rubber compound and are easily installed and tightened in place even if retrofitted . We offer two sizes of wall bushes for installation into standard DN100 or DN150 ductwork:
- MD-100 for RAINMASTER Eco and Favorit Rainwater systems
- MD-150 for supplemental supply units using mains water supply in the tank
Assembly, Installation and Maintenance
The bush is mounted in the wall. Depending on the hoses and electrical cables used, push out the factory fitted rubber stoppers and feed in the hoses/cables. Tightening can be done from one side of the wall, with a screwdriver. Maximum clamping torque: 35 Nm !
- The wall bushes are not suitable for constant high pressure water.
- The intake pressure pipe must be installed so it passes through the wall (bush) at an angle that will allow any back flowing of water to move back in the direction of the tank.
