The expansion of the building was a part of the company’s expansion path. Rainwater infiltration was requested. The best solution for this construction project was the DRAINMAX tunnel system with a buffer volume of 140 m³.

St. Joseph's Hospital at Hilden has been contributing significantly towards the local population’s health care for more than 100 years. The 6000 square meter area includes the new Medical Centre, Mediplus. The modern medical center provides many specialists from the medical field - radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, surgeons, nephrologists, neurologists and others along with a pharmacy and an emergency clinic for doctors in private practice. The Medical Centre utilizes a DRAINMAX tunnel system, producing 130 m³ volume for the temporary storage of rainwater, prior to infiltration.

The old building was first archive of the city, and at one time became a home for unwed mothers. In 2007, it was replaced by a new building, in order to meet the requirements of a modern care facility. In addition to modern single and double rooms, it also features spacious and bright common areas within each living quarter. The building features a DRAINMAX tunnel system, with 70 m³ buffer volume, ensuring that rain water can infiltrate efficiently.

ProLogis introduced a new and unique concept in Germany with the Service Logistik Park at Augsburg. The Park offers a special arrangement to local companies, in the form of logistics and transport, within the 93,000 square meter area. In addition to logistics, the tenants get a comprehensive service package with extensive service offerings ranging from the provision of security via IT, right through to the rental of forklifts. On site, the rainwater is infiltrated with an 860 m³ gross net volume DRAINMAX tunnel system, which ensures a safe, underground temporary storage of run-off water.

The project at Jülich required the rainwater infiltration of an area covering more than some 10,000 . However, infiltration-suitable soil could only be found at a depth of 10 m below ground level. Therefore, drainage of the 13,000 m² of roof surface had to be channeled through an intelligent combination of green roofing, DRAIN-MAX tunnel system infiltration trenches, troughs and well drains. Overall, this DRAINMAX tunnel system measures 350 m in length and 310 m³ in gross volume.

The rainwater is buffered in the DRAINMAX tunnels situated under a parking lot of a medium sized shopping centre in Ireland. Since soil in several areas of Ireland is not suitable for infiltration, due to the high clay content of soil, the water is then discharged into the drainage system.

One of the most beautiful thermal baths in Europe is the swimming and health center in Ludwigsfelde. More than 300,000 visitors per year take pleasure in Mediterranean bathing under the transparent dome. Since 2005, the rainwater accumulated from the 2,500 m² and 2,800 m² roof areas is infiltrated directly on-site and held within the DRAINMAX tunnel system, a cheap and space-saving solution.

Longford is a town in the central midland of the Republic of Ireland and is also the administrative centre of the county. The foundation of Longford town dates back to the Vikings, who named the place as Long Phoirt, (in Irish “long” stands for ship and “phoirt” for port or dock). The rainwater from surrounding covered areas is infiltrated into the DRAINMAX tunnels and then further discharged in the drainage system.
